Just getting back from the R100 in Fresno, Ca. Being new to archery, and wanting to get some training for hunting season, thought this would be a good place to get some exposure. What a blast! Met some real nice people and shot some really nice 3D targets.

In the past 40 years I have used mostly tents when a tent was needed, i.e.: heavy snow, heavy rain. The past few years I've been using just a bivy, or a tarp strung up between two trees (no heavy snow fall). If the ground is going to absorb the water when it falls, you do not need a floor. I...
While most hunting clothing is not made in the USA, there are brands of hunting clothing not made in China. I am not apposed to buying products made outside the USA, as long as the nation is a U.S. ally. Another poster asked "where my hunting clothing is made." In addition to the hunting...
I've always just used the stuff sack for my sleeping bag and filled it with my clothing. Ive tried backpacking pillows, but honestly don't care for them.

Keep them all. The 308 is a great choice. I use a 168g BTHP with my 308. Ive shot it accurately out to 675 yards, and have taken my last two 10 point bucks with it. Anyone that knocks the 308 has no business giving advise in my opinion. As far as the arc is concerned, its never been a...
KUIU made in China products!
I know this thread is a few years old, but I just wanted to add my two cents. KUIU is a communist sympathizer as far as I am concerned! I will never visit their retail store again, or purchase ANY of their products! I was in their store a few days ago and though...
The sad thing is, suing the EPA is like taking money out of our pockets seeing how the EPA is tax payer funded. I would rather the people at the top of the EPA food chain be held civilly liable from their own funds for this mess, not the tax payers. Sad deal all the way around really.

I have been using the "PowerFilm 10 Watt FM15-600 Foldable Solar Panel Charger." I have been using it for two hunting seasons now and it works really well. Its best to use it to charge a separate battery, then use this separate battery to charge your phone, iPad, or whatever. I've used it to...
Purchased a Gunwerks G7 BR2 range finder at a local retailer in Reno, NV this week. It’s the new "2015 model" that has a range of 2500 yards and drop solutions in MRAD, and MOA (previous model did not do MRAD and was limited to a range of 2000 yards).
I tested it on a partially overcast day...
