Mine were delivered almost an hour ago but I'm stuck at the office all day! Do they have the feel that they'd propel you to the top of a mountain with no trouble at all? IF so they're definitely legit... Wishing I would've ordered more than two lol

You're brave! haha. I've worried about this problem too though with 10x42 Meostars, they're pretty short and fat for 10x42's. Would another shim have made it easier for you to get yours out? Or does it interfere with closing the lid too much if the eye cups are above the back panel?

Very good to know :cool: I was just in conversation with the landowner (not asking permission to hunt), and their stance was so strong on corner crossing it was comical. I am surprised that the game warden said the sheriff's office will write tickets for it if they aren't every actually writing...

Wouldn't they be classified as trespassing cases vs. corner crossing? I was told by the former game warden and by a land owner that the sheriff's office will write tickets for corner crossing, so that is the basis of my comments above. I haven't tried to validate their statements, I didn't have...

I see what you mean, but there's definitely a difference in mindset between the two. On large tracts of grazing leased public lands the rancher knows they're going to encounter hunters at times. The mindset of checker boarded ranchers in these areas is that they won't be encountering people in...

I ordered a couple too. If they are knock offs we may get our money back from Ebay, but worst case scenario we have some $12 dry fits. Half the time they aren't even that cheap at Walmart or TJ Maxx

I could see that. I don't think the EB's are as breathable as the wraglers, probably due to the EB's having more spandex in them.

Depending on how bad the wind is, at 25 with a pack I've worn just my 145 weight merino shirt. The Kuiu Peloton 240 might be worth looking at. It would be lighter than the true 'soft shells', but offers great wind blocking.

PANTS??

If you're anything like I was while in college it was tough to justify spending $100+ pants like Kuiu, although the quality and comfort blow away the cheaper pants. I wear a lot of Eddie Bauer pants. The Traverse line runs a little cheaper than the guide pro line and go on better sales. I think...

In the video Kuiu posted in looked like Brendan had trouble closing the lid after he adjusted the front of the harness to fit his bino's better... That was a slight bummer to see because if he has trouble getting it closed standing in a show room wearing a t-shirt it's definitely going to be...
