Kuiu is releasing their new bino harness tomorrow, I haven't seen a thread on this yet so I thought i would start one. I'll post some updates tomorrow when more is known.

Here are some pictures, the hydration rig can be attached to the shoulder straps to wear on a long stalk.

Im on the fence for the size on these with the new 10x42 EL Binos. I have them in a Large Harness right now with the eye cup in the middle position and they are right at 6.75 inches long. The top ridgid dome on the L harness just barley comes over the eye cups to secure it in there. Barley. I just wonder how these will fit now with the new size. If you see below the new one looks to be half an inch shorter in length but they still recommend the L for under 6.75 inches and XL for over that. And the XL seems to be closer to the origonal L size. Slightly bigger. On the other hand it looks like they have height inserts for the XL, but I prefer to have the least amount of bulk on my chest when Archery hunting.

New pro harness:
• Size L: (L) 6.69 in x (W) 5.9 in x (D) 2.7 in (17 cm x 15 cm x 7 cm)
• Size XL: (L) 7.87 in x (W) 5.9 in x (D) 3.34 in (20 cm x 15 cm x 8.5 cm)
• L- Binocular height 6.75” or less (fits most 10x42 and smaller binoculars)
• XL- Binocular height 6.75-8” (fits most 10x50, 12x50, 15x56 and rangefinding binoculars)

In the video Kuiu posted in looked like Brendan had trouble closing the lid after he adjusted the front of the harness to fit his bino's better... That was a slight bummer to see because if he has trouble getting it closed standing in a show room wearing a t-shirt it's definitely going to be troublesome in the field. Hoping for good reviews once people get ahold of it though!

I ordered one to give it a go for my 15x56. I mostly use them scouting so this would be a scouting harness.

I noticed that too (him struggling to close). I'm anxious to hear how guys like them.

The wife gave me the go-ahead... not sure if I should order one and risk disaster with the chance it's 'not the one', or wait to hear reviews and risk her changing her mind lol

I finally broke down and bought some Swarovski 10x42's and I mentioned I needed a good bino harness and my wife was like, "Wait, now you need a holder for these things?"! ....I was leaning towards the Badlands Bino D mag, but now I'm anxious to see how these KUIU compare. Please let me/us know if you get them and what you think!

Looks like they took all the good from AGC & incorporated their lid to it. I won’t be getting rid of my AGC to try the new pro but it does look much better than the original

Having the shoulder straps attach straight to the holder is a sweet upgrade. Thats the only flaw I've experienced, when it slips down my chest when I have my binos out glassing.

I concur, this was a needed update. full containment in theory sounds good, i do get some debris in from the back on the previous model. I like the little front pocket too for spare diaphram calls, tags, etc.

Kuiu harnesses are the most comfortable I've used and don't add a bunch of weight and nonsense. Now, I just don't want to spend the $ to replace the existing L and XL harnesses I have..

Had a discount code and pulled the trigger on these. I didn't have anything, so I'm not replacing anything, other then a plan strap harness.

I'll let you know how it goes, after I get it setup.

Agreed it is incredibly comfortable and although not whisper quiet it's certainly one of the quietest out there. The new one is fairly heavy compared to the old which deters me from upgrading...at least not right away.

I have an original Kuiu and last year got a Muley Freak harness since it is nearly the same as the Kuiu but has the double straps and a front pocket that fits my range finder (2 things the Kuiu missed for me). I like that this one is padded and has the double straps, but I think I’d still miss the front pocket (not sold on the Velcro basement pouch yet - I’d love feedback from anyone that uses the Kuiu basement). The muley freak one is a little small for my 10x42 slc...

Ordered the XL's for Maven B-2's and B-5's. The Alaska guide creations classic is little bulky. So far my favorite harness is the Rick young harness. We will see how Kuiu harness works in a few days!
