    Tikka 6.5cm varmint heavy barrel, how short!?

    I voted 20” because 18” was not an option. An 18” barreled tikka varmint in 308 is one of the best rifles I have ever owned. That rifle has been all over the world- including backpack sheep hunts. Don’t limit yourself to a half a mile from the road!

    Jack O’Connor first chased sheep with an 11 lb gun. I took an 11 pound gun on a back pack dall hunt, no regrets. I think guys get too hung up on the couple pounds in a rifle. The difference i weight is roughly one day of food. Take something reliable that you shoot well.

    Thanks! I’m a bit of an overpriced gear dork. It is an Arno Bernard Kudu with kudu bone handle. 8” overall length with a 3.5” blade. Cannot say enough good things about it, got me away from my disposable blade addiction.
