    14. I only shoot tikkas so a 3 round mag in the rifle, a 5 round mag EASILY/FAST accessible on the chest pack, a 5 round mag in the top lid of my pack and one "because" round in my emergency kit. 14 total. Randy

    Bleeding

    I went through this a couple of weeks ago elk hunting. Busting overgrown trails with different kinds of vegetation.......a couple of us looked like axe murderers. It was warm out so I had my sleeves rolled up but long sleeves are the way to go. No issues then. Randy

    When do you need to take winter conditions seriously on mountain roads?

    I always suggest to carry a go bag with you to be comfortable for a couple days. Food, water, shelter, sleeping bag, inreach, etc. Only person you can depend on is YOU. Lots of other good advice here as well. Randy
