I've hunted antelope for years with a 300 WM and people were surprised they didn't blow up. obviously over gunned but I think in Africa people carry a rifle for the biggest animal they want to kill. Plus, who wants a duiker charging.

A DIK-DIK weighs 8-10 pounds. Most people shoot them with a 22LR or 22 Hornet camp rifle.

I have taken two steenboks, they weight about 30 pounds. Both with a 308.

Key is to shoot all the little things with mono-metal bullets.
