    They mentioned on the podcast the latest batch of carbon has more resin which is helping with the surface finish and strength in some areas, iirc. Which sounds like they’re using prepreg vs raw fabric. It’s probably resulting in slightly thicker walls, etc that would account for the weight.

    That isn't unpredictable, that happens when bullets hit bones and fragment pieces of bones (which act like a fragmenting bullet at that point).

No TTSX regardless of caliber and velocity will act like a 77gr tmk at 2200fps which is what the OP asked as a hypothetical.
