I do have a shell on my truck and sleep in it quite often. I have a Cabela’s inflatable sleeping pad I mostly use and my old 0* bag.
I’ve tried without a pad and the bed ribs kept me up. My wife also bought me an air mattress which fills up the bed which is cool, but I’m usually duck hunting so...
They are here as mentioned, but you'll have to work for them. I've killed a few on vineyards, but only one on public land that was purely luck. If I had the cash and time to drop I'd go to Texas and fill the freezer. Good luck either way.

Basically 10mpg everywhere.
Road trips below 75mph I saw 11, keep it under 65 and I’ve seen 12
Around town it’s 9 no matter what
Road hunting it gets 7

Being young will likely make it easier on him. I was 30 the first time and I’m sure it was a factor in recovery versus someone who is older.

I think $20 is an easier sell, and I love a good raffle.
P.s. I had Hodgkin’s as well. Doctors now days are good at what they do. As long as they caught it early enough it will be tough, but should be coming out the backside brand new. Good luck

This is the Nice frame with a large belt. Since I bought it I lost a bit of weight, and it no longer fits. I actually liked this pack a lot. It’s huge, but rides nice. The lid/bag is custom but workes just fine.

When I started shooting the Barnes in 2015 I shot 3-shot groups with the Barnes at 3/4", 1.25" and 1" over the three different sessions. But it's been a while, and it is very likely that I do not shoot enough, as I've only fired about 40rounds through it from then until the beginning of this...
I bedded it a couple of weeks ago but with working out of town and vacation last week it took me until today to get back out.
Today I shot the cutting edges MTH and Hornady GMX both in 130 gr
I got 1” at 57gr with the MTH and 1.25” with the GMX also at 57gr
I’m gonna to load the hammers...
So I finally got out again to try some new loads. I was able to shoot some hand loaded Barnes and some Hammers from 54-58gr of H4831sc
Got too hot to stick around and shoot the Hornady’s I loaded.
Best I did was 1 - 1/16” groups with the Hammers.
The biggest takeaway I got was with the...
I did this Sunday night as it was suggested earlier. After listening to the Panhandle Precision guy as also suggested here it sounds like the case base to ogive dimension is more critical than COAL, so it looks like this is one place I can surely start. `Thanks again
I got a gunslick kit for it about 5 yrs ago. I swab with the cleaner and let it soak for a minute or two. Swab some more, then run the brass brush about 10 times. Dry patches until clean, oil patch then dry patch.
I use a bore guide and I had cleaned it prior to the first set but it had been a...
Man I love long weekends
Got out this morning and the weather was perfect.
Both my cold bore and final 5 shot groups were with the factory Barnes, and they’re opening up to 2”. I think it’s getting dirty.
None of the other groups were worth noting except for 58 grs. My first 4 shots were...
Thanks BR
I may have fallen in the rabbit hole for the time being. I loaded 20 more for later, .05” longer to get closer to the lands at 56.5, 57, 57.5 and 58.
Plus I bought some hammers and cutting edges to try.
