As above, although you are given target distances if you do want to verfify being able to find and range the target with a single unit is nice to have. How many riflescopes have daylight bright illumination?
Your firedot should be very visible in bright daylight. It uses fibreoptics for the dot which is what all daylight bright (SFPs) LVPOs use, so yes it should be very very bright.
