    Ideally you are timed and nock is set in correct spot the first time. The only time I retie the nock is if during the tuning process the rest is too high or low (out of travel or hitting shelf).

    The surface has nothin to do if bleach will denature the protein or not - it is all about contact time. 10-30 minutes is standard practice for decontamination with 1:10 bleach.

    ??!! That was the point - I’m saying it’s not guaranteed that trading now will ensure your new truck will last to 150k miles. Might as well keep the low mileage one you have now.

    For the reasons I listed - it’s far from guaranteed. I lost two trucks within 5 years because people ran into them. Had one blow up and strand us (had 20k miles in it) had to buy a new truck that day just to get home (weird circumstances).

    Just use a range finder tethered to a pocket/harness for tree stand hunting. Bino harness is too bulky and just adds potential for extra noise. It also adds extra movement if you are using them.
