    All good points. Honestly, looking for the biggest moose possible with a reputable outfitter. I'm relatively young and in good shape, so not concern with amount of work. And just fine eating Mountain House in a spike camp for every meal.

    Thank y'all. Looking at God's Country Aviation, it reads like a self-guided hunt. Am I understanding that correctly? I'm looking for a guided hunt - no real preference when talking about horseback, backpack, boat, etc. Just really want to make sure I'm with a top notch outfit.

    Alaska/Yukon 2025 Moose Hunt

    I'm currently speaking with a couple Yukon Territory outfitters. Both mentioned on this thread and think they run good outfits. In doing a little digging, it seems like the Alaska based outfits produce bigger moose (more 70"+). Is that just marketing or is there truth to it?
