Have you used them, or other scope covers?I think the question is more, “why would anyone pay $124 for scope covers?” I legitimately thought this was an April Fools joke until I saw the date stamp. This might be the most over priced hunting/shooting product I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying something.
Also to the other guy, they’re not $70 on the website. That’s $70 for one cover. You need two. You’re saving money covering both ends of the scope on shoot2hunt vs buying from their site. Reading comprehension.
I say this having broken tenebrex, AADLAND, butler creek (these are a joke) covers repeatedly. Those are the best scope covers I have used.
If these didn’t exist, aadland are the best. But these do exist and do a number of things better:
1. The covers both lock and fold effectively flat, with very positive locking.
2. They cannot be knocked open.
3. They seal very, very well.
4. They are not slower to open than other covers.
Aadland are very good, however the thumb deployment on the rear is a snag and thumb destroyer.
