ZeroTech TRACE ADV 3-18×44 FFP Shoot2Hunt

Anyone know the distance from the bottom of scope body to the bottom of the flat under the elevation and windage turrets?

I am trying to see what height blaser mount I would need to mount one of these.

Edit: @Formidilosus you would probably be in the best position to answer this.

That windage hook disguised as a turret is my single biggest beef with the SWFA 6x MQ Gen2.

S2H/ZT have a potential opportunity with an affordable next-gen fixed mag (think 7x50mm or 8x56mm).

I’ve never had any of my brass hit my SWFA turrets. 🤷🏼‍♂️
mounting height is another contributor as well as ejection angle as already mentioned by others. Never had it happen with 223 size cases, But Creed/08 size yes. Happen at the range no big whoop, follow up shot on an animal it sucks.

I try to mount my scopes as low as possible. I have them on Remington Model Sevens and Tikka t3x lites. It must not affect those.

My maven does it if the windage cap is on with um mediums and lows
What rifle? My Tikkas have no issues with RS1.2 or SWFA scopes. My Sako 85 did it with low optilocs with a Weaver K4 (which almost doesn't have turrets). As the K4 is set and forget, I flipped it so windage became elevation.

If a Tikka, perhaps scope position over the action and I just got lucky.

Tikka 6.5
