ZeroTech TRACE ADV 3-18×44 FFP Shoot2Hunt

It seems like the popular opinion is in favor of the THLR reticle, but I can't get over how odd it looks.
Personally and I don’t think I am alone, I think curious is a better description. I want to try it and see for myself. I already know what to generally expect from the more standard reticle so out the gate I want to see if I like the one I don’t have experience with but is well regarded.

Out the gate, I think you'll like it ...

Some of these scope companies that had been approached before ZT have to be sitting there like, “Ok…we ****** up”.
Nah, that would assume that those companies are fast reacting and proactive. They won't fully realize their mistake until their CS emails are flooded by people asking why their scopes don't meet the new industry standard 🤣

I'm thinking I will hence the curiosity and willingness to order. The bold centering posts and also the 1mil box making it really easy to reference a .5mil (box edge) or 1mil wind hold (first big line after the box) and split the difference of those as needed versus counting small ticks on a normal mil reticle.

Exactly my thoughts as well. What can it hurt.

I suggest that if you are in the fence about ordering the THRL reticle, just do it. If you end up not liking it (which I highly doubt) it will sell within minutes in the classifieds for what you paid for it.
I took this approach. And I’m coming from a long way off. Being a 2nd Focal plane, MOA for hunting user. I’ve dabbled in MIL but never fully accepted
due mostly to reticle issues.
This Optic / Reticle has me feeling very Optimistic.

I went on to shoot2hunts website for the first time to check out this new scope etc.. lol, I had been operating under the assumption for years and years that they were different types of people.

I totally get this because I’m very much in the, “I want to feel something in my hands” before committing, but just wanted to say from handling the two scopes at the hunt expo, it was exactly what I imagined and expected. There’s going to be a learning curve, because it’s new and packed with features, but man, I think this is going to shake up the scope industry for hunters.

Yeah, your probably right....but I gotta see it lol.

Luckily I live 15 minutes from UM. So im sure I will see it at some point soon.

It's clear from reading Rokslide that there are many critics out there. This scope will undergo testing by more independent reviewers than any other. However, the reality is that you won’t find any bigger critics of this scope than Form and me.

@Formidilosus, @ZeroTech Optics, and you have nailed it with the THLR reticle.

For the first time, I can see myself hunting with a FFP scope because I can imagine seeing the reticle at low magnification ranges against a busy background.

Form's explanation of how to use it was great. I cannot do math in my head, but I am pretty sure I can master what he said.

@Formidilosus also promised me a video showing best uses of the reticle before my scopes arrive. Clock is ticking!!!
How to videos would be very helpful in
promoting the

S2H “SPECIFIC” version of THLR reticle.

This would help promote sales & increase interest in the product. As well as provide support to users of the product !!

Like & Subscribe !! 😉
