As the title says gang. Who uses these highly recommended lights?… and which configuration works best for you?

If you run the beam, is it too bright when your working on something in close, or tracking blood at your feet…is the reflection back blinding?

Do you wish you had got the flood?

Do you wish you had got the beam?

I'm assuming the cool white is more blue than the neutral….

Looking forward to your thoughts and opinions.

I have the neutral flood and really like it, though I think I want to try a beam for hiking in the dark. Being able to dim the beam down I think would limit the blindness the high beam can do to ya.

I debated for weeks on this and am pretty confident I bought the best combo for myself.

definitely get the Neutral, seems to make things like reading much easier on the eyes, and I can't imagine using the flood after owning the beam. I cant remember but I feel like their used to be two beam options, a tight spot and a medium spot? Whichever one I ended up the amount of "spill" around the spot is perfect for any task I've ever used for it and pretty well illuminates to the edges of my peripheral vision. Cranked up the spot has plenty of throw for seeing down the trail, even at a quick pace.

it's also kind of funny when your buddy thinks you are in the dark ages with an incandescent because of the color.

Yep, Neutral and beam.
For what we do, I like a light that can throw a ways out. And the zebras have SO many light levels to choose from that you should never feel "Blinded". Ill often read with mine on its low setting inside of a zipped up bivy sack, with the book inches from my face.

I also own a floody that I often wear at work for arms length only tasks and its nice but I wouldn't trade it for throw out in the woods.

The neutral or cool I'm less concerned about. I own both and prefer the Neutral, but do use the cool white just as often.

Im going to order a natural beam. I have been trying to decide and this thread sealed the deal for me.....thanks

I've several model zebralights. I've the h600fw, h602w and sc62w which I can use as a headlamp when needed. These three cover all the beam types they have from flood, floody and spot. My favorite for hunting and tracking is the floody h600fw. Gives enough throw and nice pattern with the frosted lense. The h602w doesn't throw enough for my taste so I let my brother use it during season. The sc62w with the spot beam pattern just isn't as nice when blood tracking as it seems to make too much shadows and it's easier to look over things. It also has the narrowest spread and I just prefer lighting up most of my field of view.

The cool is brighter, to bright almost. Gives me a headache while using it on long hikes in the dark. Neutral is all I run now, much easier to see blood with especially on the 600 series.
