I bought a new pair of zamberlans. My feet are wide and short. The toe box is very stiff and is breakin over behind the 2nd eyelet. Its so stiff its digging into the top of my foot and is kinda painful when the boot really bends such as a climb. Anyone have tips for helping with this?

Oil the boot with the Zamberlan hydrobloc cream and continue breaking them in. As the leather get softer that feeling should go away, but I also found playing with the tension on the lacing helped as well.

No matter what I did I couldn't get that to go away with the Zamberlans I had. Just didn't work for me.....

I had that problem. I was used to buying boots a size bigger because of my wide feet. When i switched to the ZAMBERLAN VIOZ PLUS GTX HUNTING BOOTS, the toe box is much wider, and it had the breakover issue your speaking of. Because it was wider, I was able to buy a smaller boot (shoter lenght) and it fit better.
