I added a Thermorest roll up pad that I cut in half. It was really nice to have to for only 7 oz.

Switch to an MSR wind burner before my last hunt and absolutely love it!

Caribou bags have blown my mind and lastly my MR metcalfe works well for me after some trial with others

New Kifaru hunting frame and FL merino socks. Those socks gotta be made from alien space wool. My feet were in those things for 5 DAYS before any odor began to build and after 7 days they still smelled better than my work socks after 1 day. Unreal. The new hunting frame just proved Kifaru is still on top of their game. Now i see why their the pack all the others are graded against. The homeade gaiters i made out of the sleeves off my old herters rain coat didnt work terrible, and now i have a short sleeve rain coat. I will be buying a real set for next season however.

That's a tough one. A lot of great gear came out this year. Im excited to see what all these great companies introduce this year. 1. Kifaru Ultralight Duplex or Seek Outside Cimmaron bundle. Maven B3's were up there for sure, great glass for the $. Hope they introduce a lightweight spotter soon.

This one is easy for me.

OR Luminary Gloves. Awesome gloves... bought 2 pair. Perfect for the fricken cold temps during late season here in MT. Found I can even use my touchscreen GPS with them on, just required patience about 50 percent of the time.

I'd have to say it was the .280 Ackley Improved I had built on a Winchester Model 70. Love that rifle. I did pretty darn good at Christmas though as my son and wife got me a Leupold 1200 yard range finder! Spoiled for sure.

Coolest addition for me this year was a Sony RX100III. It was a pretty penny, but I got some good pictures considering I know nothing about photography. Twas good for digiscoping as well!!

Definitely switching to FL on all clothing. Getting rid of cotton underwear was the best decision i made

Among several gear changes, the best of 2015 for me was the EXO 3500 pack.
