Thinking about trying the nighthawk with an ATX/BTX 95 and didnt know if it would be too much weight for the ultralight head.

There’s a tiny bit of spring back with you notice with 70x but you can probably make it work.
Coming from a VA5 head I’m happy with the swap over if your looking for a lighter weight premium head

Great thread and lots of great ideas. Below are mine for 2024.

2. 10x42 Zeiss conquest
3. Big miss was missing out on the SG Grumman for $149.

2025 I am focusing on less weight. Looking at lighter pack, bags/quilts. These two alone will save at least 5lbs.

2. Sitka Gore Tex Blanket. You’ve never been warm if you aren’t using one of these. Does your blanket have Gore Tex? Didn’t think so.

3. Yeti Bucket! You might laugh but the lid was only an additional $30 and i can stand on it!!!

Moved from WA to Mi this year, been tough to go from mountain hunting to flat lands.

With that, my top piece of gear this year is a 350L AR build. My first time using an AR for hunting, has been a good experience. 5$ late season doe tags and big groups of does makes for fun filling the freezer! I will say, first time using a LVPO and it sucks in low light. Gonna have to change that for next year.
