I've bought some great stuff over the years
military bdu' -- 44 years old early 80's - still fit -- had to sew a few holes, replace buttons --
herter's decoys -- some from the mid 70's, the newest from the mid 80's.
rifle - steyr - late 90's - still shoots that cold barrel, one shot.
scope - Zeiss Diavari ---- wow, what light gathering
mossy oak bottomland - 1991, light coveralls, vest, light thin tshirt
Lynch boxes - late 70's --- it's called in a few (ok, my few and your few may be different)
cabela's -- old dry plus suede -- great for cold weather, heavy
wool - military wool shirts and pants -- awesome thickness --- pants are thick and heavy as all get out, but wind won't come through them in the ladder stand.
Red Wing Boots -- first pair 45 years ago -- 2nd pair 30 years ago -- still works for me.
Old Timer Pocket knife -- the big one --- late 70's That knife had I have done a lot together -- I remember carrying it to school, yeah, that's before all the mess. It's a tool, plain and simple. skinning, gutting, cleaning, trimming limbs, being a screwdriver, trimming wire or even cutting it ---
     Schrade skinner -- early 80's
     Kabar -- mid 80's
My wife -- 16 years --- still my best investment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Lord for bringing her too me --- All good gifts are from the Lord --- A wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. ....... a prudent wife is from the Lord.
