Technically the Ramcat hydroshock is a replaceable blade head. I have found them to penetrate very well, and cut well, with openings that look like a larger mechanical. They pivot and cut both going in and coming out. The only negative to me.....you should loctite the tiny allen screws as they will vibrate out over time. YMMV.

I have a little 5” section of arrow with an insert that I use to sharpen my GK’s so it makes it like sharpening a knife, gives you a little handle to use while sharpening, and just use a worksharp guided field sharpener, so If you can sharpen a pocket knife, you can sharpen a radius edge broadhead as easily
I always just took the blade out of the ferrule and used my Lansky to get them back to factory sharp.

Evolution Jekyll is my choice for fixed heads.

However, I use mechanicals for elk and have killed my last 5 bulls with them. Since switching most die within sight and zero have went over 100 yards. In fact I would bet combined they haven’t gone much over 200.

I have had great success with exodus. Fly very similar to field points.

I am interested in the scoop design of the annihilator heads though. I read they do not get super sharp but kill with sheer trauma.

I found that they got very sharp for a 3b. Take's a real nice edge.

These Contact MD3 are wicked as well. Same cut as the Exodus but solid S7 tools steel. Quieter than the Annihilator.

Can’t speak on blood trail as I haven’t killed with them yet but as far as flight, I have never shot a more accurate broadhead than the Evolution Outdoors heads. I carry the fixed and the hybrid and both are dead on at all ranges without ever having to touch the sight. It’s a lot of cut so I’m sure when it happens they will spill blood well if I’ve done my part.
