I only compared it to a Kuiu Kutana Storm plus some old Outdoor Research shell. I really like the cut, low over my butt, long sleeves and giant hood. The dwe leaves a bit to be desired but I think that is true of most that are trying to avoid forever chemicals.Have you compared the Beta AR to other jackets? What stood out about the Beta?

I was just talking about the SSS tonight with one of my hunting partners. He liked it on one of the trips we went on. Plans to be picking one up as well. Thanks for the mention of the SSS!
I have a daiwa tatula sv and it is my absolute favorite reel.Garmin Xero - seems to be a common item in this thread which speaks volumes. Works awesome and so easy to use.
Timney The Hit trigger - this one is a weird one, I have a Rem700 Tactical in .223 that eats more ammo than all my other rifles combined. It had a Trigger tech Primary in it. I got a $200 Cabela's gift card for Christmas last year and bought this as a replacement early this year. What that meant is I could put the Triggertech into another Rem700, a .243 I bought for my kids, and that one has become one of my favorite rifles now. The Hit is great, but I love my little .243!
Not hunting related, but a Daiwa Tatula baitcaster. Mounted on a 7' Fenwick Medium Heavy, the pairing helped me limit out on walleye several times this summer, it worked fine in the weed beds for bass, and also pulled a couple of monster muskies in Lake of the Woods.
Mine is a 100HSL and it's my second baitcaster reel, once I got it dialled in for casting distance with my line/lure weights and got the drag and backlash set I can absolutely huck things into low earth orbit. Daiwa is solid IMO.I have a daiwa tatula sv and it is my absolute favorite reel.
