Very hard to name just three-

Ambient Hoody-it’s on every hunt and worn more than everything I own except my mandatory FR clothes at work. It’s hands down the best piece of clothing I’ve ever own.

Gunwerks Elevate 2.0 Bipod-it just does everything and weighs nothing. I’m still so impressed by the quarter turn pic mount setup. Sets up so quick and intuitive. Planning to get the claw feet bc that was the only thing I wanted to change.

Western Mountaineering Terralite- I think I’ve had it for 5 years. I bought it from hermits hut and got the overfill option. So I’d guess temp rating at 22ish? But I’ve had it down to single digits multiple times and the only thing that gets cold is my face. Love it.

Honorably mention that I almost put on here-Tricer pan head, MSR reactor, kuiu summit star 1p.

1. Swaro 14 x 52 NL Pure - Absolutely crushed the 15x56 SLC and well worth the $$$. Edge to Edge clarity was amazing. You can hand hold them for a short time and they weigh less than the SLC. Only knock was Swarovski did a terrible job of delivering them to my dealer in a reasonable amount of time.

2. Garmin Xero - Seems like a fan favorite for good reason.

1. Ambient 100 jacket - works exactly as designed, great temperature range and was perfect for the type of elk hunting I did this year. I now wear it to work if temps aren't terribly cold.
2. SG Sky Solus 1P - plenty of room inside for myself and gear, liked the unique design and versatility of the rainfly. I'm ready for any weather with that tent.
3. Blackovis Anchor Point 800 puffy jacket/pants set - for the money they were pretty nice to slip on when sitting and kept me warm enough, very lightweight also.

If we're talking stand out new items for me this year, here's my list:

1. Vivobarefoot Tracker Forest Esc. boots. I've owned them for a year and a half but finally took them off trail and on an archery hunt this year and was shocked how much I liked them compared to my trusty Crispis. More comfortable, quieter, lighter, etc. My feet got soaked in them on a super wet day but they dried out completely in less than a day once the weather dried up. These aren't for everyone but I've been running in minimalist shoes for 7 years and wear others almost daily. This was just my first real hunt with them.

2. Sitka MDWI Arrowhead jacket. My first active insulation piece like this and it's a versatile piece I liked more than I thought I would. I liked it enough to pick up an Ambient 100 jacket as well but find I don't like the heavier weight insulation quite as much on that one.

3. I tried a Peak Refuel Peach Cobbler for the first time this year and man that hits the spot after a long day of hunting if you have a sweet tooth like me.

I love these types of threads. Always some new gear I've never heard of to look into.

2. Sitka Gore Tex Blanket. You’ve never been warm if you aren’t using one of these. Does your blanket have Gore Tex? Didn’t think so.
