Mine was a Winchester Model 94 in 30-30 and it took out a lot of deer. Had a fixed 6 power side mounted scope, and when that 170 grain Core-lok hit, he was down. The Remington CL was often called the “most dangerous mushroom in the woods” and set out to prove it.
