Your favorite shot video on a goat.

Didn’t want to hijack the Idaho Billy post that shows a great shot clip of the Billy. So I was thinking, what is your favorite video clip of a kill shot (bow or gun) on a goat that you have taken, your buddy has taken, or that you have just found while cruising the web. Post it and let enjoy. I don’t have any I like better than the one mentioned in this post, but will look a bit for some more.

I actually looked before posting, and to be candid I could not find one I like better than Naneumranch’s Idaho Billy. That is just an outstanding clip!

Appreciate it . If you seen the cluster trying to figure out how to use a new IPhone 15 pro between two technology challenge men on the side of the mountain was interesting to say the least. You would pick one camera and it would go away when you zoomed or go away when you switched to video. Good thing that goat had no clue we were there and stayed bedded for a hour lol .

Good friend was the shooter I was the phone skope guy. He was shooting a 300 prc with a 182gr hammer, shot was 370 yards. His shot was on point.

I failed as a camera man this past September, my brother and me crawled out to about 100 yards of a goat and I got film of him shooting but not the goat oh well still got the goat in the end.

What caliber did that 180 grain Berger come out of before hitting its mark? 7mm Mag?

Man those are some cool animals. I never had a desire to shoot one previously but the more I see them the more I feel like I want to kill one.

I’m not sure I’m in good enough shape to do so and being a flat lander, there is only so much preparation you can do for those elevations where they live.

It was a 7 rem mag I believe.

If a guy searches around I think there are definitely easier goat hunts out there!! Lots of options to look at, one may be spotting from a truck/logging road. Often those hunts can be short and sweet (ime anyway). Backpacking in is a blast and a guy gets to walk some gorgeous country, but that hunt isn’t for everyone. Just a thought!
