Your favorite hunting knife?

Just bought (5) of these after doing bad math in my head.. they are nice and steel seems great but I don’t think they’re $575 great.. my mental conversion was $57.5 so I figured WTH I’ll get them as souvenirs for folks back home..f-ing Chuck math

Oh damn, yea those are nice but thats a bunch of $$ for 5 of them

I typically carry a havalon and a fixed blade Kershaw that I’ve had for years. An old Ken Onion design.
I’ve never understood crazy expensive knives. Once you get some basic knowledge of steel types you’ll see that there are plenty of $65 dollar knives made from the same stuff as the $300 knives.

I have never felt the need for more than a few decent folding knives.
Used to keep a heavy fixed blade to bust open the rib cage, but I just beat a small knife through with a stick on older deer.

The Outdoor Edge knife is always in my pack with a few blades, definitely the best $40 ever on a field tool.

After nineteen years of using Busse Combat (Busse, SwampRat and ScrapYard) I sold all of my "standard" and "custom" BC products and started using Architect Knives. I like their "build your own" model, and they offer several steels too.

For general use, I like their AK5.5.

As for detail work, I have a bunch of Spyderco folders and a couple of Bucks that work well.

Would be a real shame for it not to continue. Hopefully someone gets behind it.

I think it might be Behring Made. They recently worked on a collaboration with Ruana and made if I remember correctly 11 knives together that were amazing.
