I ordered an MKC speed goat and a Sharptailed this year.

I love the sharptailed, its fine as a bird knife though you dont really need much for upland birds. I also used it to field dress, skin, and break down a whitetail and it did a super good job at that. It was getting a touch dull right at the end and likely could have used a touch up part way through the breakdown but did just fine without it. I tend to like smaller blades like that for more control.

Im kind of mehhh... on the speedgoat. Its a nice blade but I dont love the paracord handle. I might send it down the road, or keep for backpacking / canoe trips where its seeing less serious use but where I care about the weight savings.

Im pretty sure I am getting a blackfoot for Christmas which I think will pair nicely with the sharptailed as a pair to take hunting.

I also always have a kershaw leek on me though dont tend to use it on game.
