I watched a comparison online of the ozark 73 and a few others, and the ozark came in last and leaked. I will note that the guy conducting the test was pretty rough around the edges. The tumbler by Ozark is fantastic and a direct copy of Yeti's.
Looks like Ozark Trail is getting into coolers also. They have a 73qt cooler and a Hopper style cooler at my local WM.. They both looked like decent products.
Nothing wrong with the Ozark coolers. We had a 52 qt and the 73qt at lake Powell this spring for a 5 day trip and they kept right up with several Yeti's we had there and did just as good or better then the 2 Orca's my buddy has.
I've had my Ozark Trail tumblers now for about a month (bought two 30oz and two 20oz) and have been very happy. Funny, I can't imagine living without them now. My morning coffee stays hot and my cold drinks stay cold. I don't know how I survived all these years without them! First world problems, I know. Funny thing is, last weekend I won a Yeti 20 oz tumbler in a golf tournament and immediately did a side by side comparison with the OT when I got home. My wife placed the ice cubes in so I can't say it was scientific with exact weight/size of the cubes, but the OT slightly edged out the Yeti.
I have to say I have nothing against Yeti. I just never found the need to spend that much on a cup or cooler, but I do appreciate high end gear when I can afford it. It's not surprising that Yeti has filed suit against OT. It looks like an exact copy for 1/4 the price. I'd be pissed too if I was Yeti, but there will always be guys that want that name and competition is certainly good even though I think it's kind of a dick move to manufacture an exact replicate.
