Yet Another Ford Recall

These things are hard to keep track of. I believe this is either the 3rd or 4th recall I have had on this rig, and then on top of that there were 3 issues involving incomplete assembly from the factory, and the dash screen went out at 35k miles.

But this is a new threshold- no immediate solution and informing of a possible safety risk.

Built Ford Tough

They've been building them for soooo long that at this point you'd think they would have the process perfected.

I "need" a new car but seeing all the stuff out there has me scared.

Seems like I'll pay a ton for something that is unreliable, depreciates like crazy and costs a lot to repair.

Had a 78 and an 84 bronco. Ford stands for fix or repair daily or -- found on the road dead. Cold day in hell before I ever buy another.

My son was given a 1 ton. Every time a sparkplug assembly goes down it is another $750. A company to avoid.

I think you’ll be ok if you stay away from anything involving unions and brands headquartered in Detroit.

I got this notice in the mail yesterday. However, a google search of “Ford Recalls” today doesn’t show this recall; it shows 5 other more recent recalls affecting several other years and models.

Evidently, this is just the norm for Ford.
