Sherman always plays well. I don't like his attitude much but he backs it up on the field. No question the best corner in the game.

I will go the other way on Dick Sherman. We don't know if he plays well because they stay away from him. ok..so one might say, that is cause he is covering his receiver, others might say (as I do) he is not covering a receiver on every play. I would like to see more teams challenge him.

His problem is not his play, its his attitude.

Lastly, the call had nothing to do with the loss. They have to make calls in every situation, constantly. one can say that about any call, no? I could also say Dallas Cowboys thumped the seahawks, and they were not in that game because (some would say) because they threw on 3rd down to close out the half against green bay. bottom line: thats sport....they lost because of an interception, not call. If you take the call back, take back Brady's 2 int, and the game is likely not close.

Seriously! You have three plays to make it 1.5 yards. You give it to Lynch 3 times. NO BRAINER! So they line up in shotgun and run a slant?! It was a great football game though.

Horrible play calling by the Pack got them into the Super Bowl, and horrible play calling lost it for them as well. I consider that a wash.

Exactly what I was trying to say. Dallas did the same thing or the Pack would not have played Seahawks IMO. And the Seahawks would have lost to Dallas for the 2nd time this season. Dallas would have lost to to the Patriots....it all washes out...it is sports!

Still struggle why it has to be the play call and not the crappy pass to the other team. That pass needed to be on his body on the goal line. The pass was as bad as the call IMO

brady should give that mvp truck to the rookie for saving the game with that interception. and as i turned off the game i wondered why i watch football. these men get paid rediculous amounts of money to play a backyard game and most of them dont even appreciate it, a large percentage of them are nothing but criminals. morals are far and few between. they lie and cheat and it all seems so predetermined i find myself wondering why i support it by watching. its sad really that they would even use a word like integrity while talking about tom brady. lol he is a football player on the shadiest team in the game. he is not a soldier or a teacher or a doctor. this world is certainly confused to say the least.

So do you have to be a soldier, a teacher or a doctor to have integrity? Do all teachers, soldiers, and doctors have integrity?

Are circular arguments always based on circular logic? Hmmm...

Nice rant though.

I didn't watch the game. Better things to do. That said I started reading a few of the first comments on this thread. I'm seriously amazed at how many people on this thread said they didn't care for the Packers? Wow. IMO this is the real "America's team". A team that promotes from within as far as their players goes, the most players of any team in the league with players they draft. Very seldom is there any controversy or "questionable" actions. Never hear of anyone in the press for bad behavior. If this really isn't a team you care for what are you all looking for in a team??

Statically season long this is also a fail if you look at his goaline punch ins. Goalline packages are designed to stop this very scenario just saying.

no 307 those are just 3 professions that easily come to my mind when i thought of someone who should make a lot more money for there job. and i agree that there is a dirty glass on every shelf. but after rereading i agree it was a nice rant, thank you. sorry if you disagree with me but personally i dont think much of tom brady and the patriots. i think like most other things the NFL is very corrupt. When you see a superbowl celebration where a bunch of grown men act like punks and have trouble speaking properly the last thing i think is that they deserve the money they make. and kraft might as well laughed at everyone. he is a P.O.S but in the NFL apparently you get paid for that. sorry if i upset you but this is my opinion and i will leave it at that

Good game overall although I was waiting for Lynch to run it and give the Pats a 3rd consecutive loss in the SB.

The reason they make to money they do is the fact that 72% of all TV's in America were tuned to the game during those hours. That is why the networks pay Billions to get the broadcasting rights to NFL games. All about the $$$$$$$$$$$.

I was shocked to see Seattle pass, obviously we all know how it turned out. Anyways I just heard a stat that there was something like 106 pass plays this year in the NFL from the one yard line, lasts nights play was the only one that ended in an interception......other words might not have been such a bad call after all.

Lynch was 1 for 5 running the ball on the one yard line for the year. He was 6 for 15 from the 5 yard line. I can understand why Seattle would throw the ball.
With time ticking down getting tackled for a loss would have soaked up some of the clock.

It was close and it came down to the wire. For those of us that are not fans of these two teams. What more could we ask for.

I do think it was nice as well to see the refs let them play ball. After this years call/no call, changing calls in the play offs. The teams decided the outcome of the game and not the refs.
