You must be a 49'ers fan.

Go HAWKS!!

Nope, not at all. I'm for any team that puts class, humility and "team" first.
Teams like the NBA's San Antonio Spurs are a breath of fresh air.

The way guys here brush aside (and even embrace!) behavior like Sherman's is a disgrace.
Again, I'm gonna move on. Not going to change any minds here, and at 51 y/o you're not changing mine..I'm old school when it comes to team play, respect etc.

Overall, they're scumbags, end of story.

The only reason they are back in the Super Bowl is because they play as a team. They are void of play makers on offense and their off line has been battered all year. Can't do it without being a team.

Go 'Hawks!

I'm really thrown off how you can call the whole team "scumbags" yet you only refer to Sherman's antics, which I suspect are the ones that happened almost a year ago. He's been pretty quiet this year too. If I'm wrong, please correct me. Otherwise I'm not sure where anyone from the rest of the team is a scumbag. Russell goes to Children's Hospital every single Tuesday. He praises the Lord before anything. Lynch has a children's foundation charity he runs. The others are all pretty quiet guys. They don't run their mouths. Never are they in the news for anything dramatic. I just don't get the basis behind your comments.

"Stanford degree" lol...basket weaving 101. I'd love to take a gander at his class-attendance records.

Outside the rest of the debate, you can't knock Sherman's school performance. His academic achievements are for real.

Every team has their time at the top. Right now it's our turn, so all you haters can suck it. GO HAWKS!!!

During the season, the team gets one day a week off.
Wilson spends his, every week, at Children's Hospital
Lynch spends his working with his foundation helping inner city kids
Sherman, inspiring high school kids to go to college
Baldwin visits elementary schools telling kids that professional athletes are normal people and shouldn't be idolized, and to work hard in school so that they can do important jobs helping people, not playing sports.

Sherman had a choice of an academic or football scholarship to Stanford, and then graduated at the top of his class.

Sounds like scrumbags to me.

I was there in row T on the hundredth level. We left after the fourth interception. I wasn't going to be disgusted with the Hawks on top of sitting in traffic. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. I'm such a boob!

Sherman is annoying and sometimes offensive, but calling someone a scumbag for actions on a football field is ridiculous. It's the way these men handle themselves off the field that determines the kind of men they are. For example the other team in the superbowl has a NFL posterboy QB that dumped the pregnant mother of his child for a model. That's much more scummy in my opinion.

No way!!!!! Certainly can't blame you though. I was screaming at the TV "You guys are done! Your season is over!" My son left and took a shower. Never would have predicted that ending in a million years and still can hardly believe it.

Sorry you missed it!

Alright, big packers fan here, born and raised in Wisconsin, currently living in Green Bay. The whole game disgusted me. So many blown opportunities that could not be capitalized. They deserved the end result by playing way to conservatively. McCarthy really makes me scratch my head. Bummer of a season but kick the crap out of the Patriots for us! At least you have a Badgers QB in Russell, he is a real stand up guy. Tell him to make sure there is enough air in those balls he will be throwing in a few weeks ;)

Pretty amazing how many plays GB had to leave out there for the Hawks to make that comeback. When that db took a knee after the interception at the 5 minute mark I damn near fell out of the stadium. He had two blockers and lots of green in front of him. That was the most timid team I think I've ever seen. If a Hawk db catches that ball in the same circumstances all they're thinking about is dancing in the back of the endzone!

One things for sure with a coach Carrol team is that you'll never see them play scared as they proved on Sunday! They might play lousy but they certainly ain't playing scared!

FYI-Richard Sherman is giving away an all expense paid trip for two to the Super Bowl. All you have to do to get your name in the hat is go to his website and place an order. Think he'll sell many "You mad bro" hoodies this week :)

I was working the game and just had to laugh at the couple hundred fans that left early. I told my partner, "Just imagine if they make a miracle comeback and you'll see those fans crying outside the gates." I went home that night and watched the game on my DVR, all I can say is wow. Go Hawks!!!!!

I was born in Buffalo and we had season tickets, but my dad was sick during the oilers game. Those people who left when the bills were down 35 to 3....now THAT was a comeback.

One in a million and you called it right... Those poor fans. LOL

I am still at a loss... I thought the Pack (I grew up in GB, went to two games this season at Lambeau) was gonna do it, then watched that OT pass fall right into his arms and wanted to puke... Perfect example of a team kicking it's own ass... Go Pats. (I hate the Pats.)

I am still baffled at the 2 point conversion. To throw the ball all the way across the field is asking for trouble. To pull it off is amazing.

I hate the Pats as well but find myself wanting them to win the SB.

OK, Here is my take on this deal. BOOHAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA - the Packers LITERALLY had the game in their hands. The LITERALLY let their chance at going to the super bowl slip right through their hands and hit them right in the head. The Hawks Had NOTHING to do with this win other than a great effort to get them to this point. This was a TOTAL TEAM MELTDOWN completing the biggest choke in sports. Again, BOOHAHHAAHAAAHAA. It wasnt the onside kick mess up, the extra point, no effort, the equipment manager packing up the equipment, it wasnt the fact that you let a receiver get into the backfield and a QB who had more interceptions than receptions in the first half get lucky. It was all of it put together to make that pathetic "game" the most memorable sports choke of my time.

Signing off, VIKINGS FAN - yeah I know we will never win a superbowl -

As soon as the Packers failed to go for it on 4th down at the 1/2 yard line when it was 0-0, I told my wife........"well, I guess GB doesn't want to win today". Turned out I was right.........over, and over, and over again through that game..

oh man...i said the exact same thing. Not a horrible game but terrible coaching on GB's part. They have a weapon in Rodgers....then they hardly use him. They have numerous chances in the red zone ...and line up without a running back in short yardage. They played...not...to...lose and thats what happens.

Kudos to wilson who finally found his touch in the last 1/2 of the 4th qtr. otherwise i hate that mouthy Seattle team. Dang, GB could have pummeled them and they let em off the hook.
