Wyoming Trespass Fees

Geez, I remember hunting around Medicine Bow in 84 and 86 and the ranchers were happy if you remembered to put the $5 landowner voucher in the milk jug on the gate!
A lot has changed over the last 20 years. 20 years ago I could drive to Wyoming, stop at the local gas station to buy my antelope permits, and be hunting that afternoon on multiple different ranches that were open to the public. Wyoming literally struggled to sell all the antelope permits so we could buy several over the counter. Now I feel lucky if I get a tag every 3-4 years and have any private to hunt.

Most ranches in the area we hunt either have outfitters or long term parties returning on a fee basis. The days of stop by and knock on the door are long gone.
