I have 5 preference points for Wyoming deer. I had been looking to save points for a few more years, but an unfortunate diagnosis has left me needing to use my points before it's too late. I understand not wanting to post regions or specific units in the thread, so I am open to messages as well.

I'm not a perfect bill of health, but I'm also not immobile either. I am comfortable hiking a long ways as well as back-country camping. I would like a good balance in 'solid' deer quality and overall number of deer, I would rather see more deer and tag a respectable buck than see 1 deer in a week but him be 190".

Barring a miracle, this is probably the only western trip I'll ever be able to make for deer. Any help at all is appreciated.

Only guy I know in Wyoming is Jim Freeburn. Small scale guy who loves mule deer hunting. Can't hurt to call. His outfit is Triple Creek Hunts. Worth a call. Good luck on your health.

Bummer on the diagnosis man. Sending encouragement from a few states away! Are you pretty well set on gear? Have a Vortex 1800 rangefinder that I could send your way if you need for the hunt.

I really appreciate that! I'm set on gear, I've been preparing for this since my last elk hunt in 2020. That's super nice of you to offer though.

Martin outfitters outside of Jackson I took a decent buck with them and know a couple other guys that also got decent bucks with them. The area is not known for giant bucks but they do good. Would recommend them 100%.
