For anyone and everyone who has hunted g or h, I’m interested in the quantity and quality of bulls you’re seen while scouting and hunting. PM only please.

I’m more interested in G. Particularly unit 91 in Wyoming for a possible general season hunt. Considering H area elk units also.

Thanks a ton.

Both regions had back to back hard winters. So numbers of all sized deer are down. You need 7 points or more for a G tag. Half that for H. There are definitely big bucks up in H too and less competition so if you don’t have enough points for G I’d say hunt H and start banking points again to hunt G after it comes back some.

This post is for information on elk populations in this area. I’ve researched it sufficiently between scouting and everything for deer. Wondering about elk. PM only please. I’ve received one helpful response. I’d appreciate any others guys would be willing to share.

It's in the mule deer forum...

I’m looking at hunting unit 84/86 and then 91.

I’ve received a few great comments. I’d welcome any others. Thanks.

Thanks.

I’m not really asking about deer in this thread. Still interested in elk experience in 84/86/91. Thanks again.

I like how you can post these types of questions here and not get ridiculed like you do in most fb groups
