I have 6 NE elk points. So just getting to no man’s lands (same thing going on with my Colorado elk points which I have 5 of lol)

It took 5PP to get a West general tag in WY last year and over 5 PP to get a South general tag...wouldn't be surprised if it takes 6PP to guarantee a general elk this year in either the S or W region...6PP might not even be 100% draw odds.

Yeah I think I’m going to potentially use my 5 NR PP in CO this year and continue to save/build my Wyo Elk/Deer/Antelope PP. maybe Wyo will be my swing for the fences state going forward

I had a great experience in WY general two years ago. Saw 3 people all hunt, Sept 17-28, on bulls every morning and most afternoon/evenings. I was pleasantly surprised to the lack of pressure we encountered on our hunt. Much better experience compared to a OTC/low point unit in Colorado.

I enjoyed it some much, I’m going to try for a random in the special this year.
