last week my father in law, brother and my self made a trip to Wyoming to do a little recon for next year. At around 4:00 pm the first afternoon I dropped our first elk after two other hunts in Colorado. The best part was my big brother was sitting next to me. If he had a tag another one would have fallen for sure. It was worth all the work and planning to come home with something in the cooler. After all the work with my new t3 I made the 40 yard frontal shot and the 168 Berger did it's job. She spun and took about 3 steps. All in all it was a good trip and we will be back next year with several tags to fill!!
Congrats on the elk! We may have to compare notes about the unit some time. We also realized just how small of a world we live in, and set up by some other people from Rokslide.
