For the brain trust. I sent this to WGF, but figured I would ask here as well.
I spoke with two different WGF agents on the phone and got two different answers, and I would like to get the "truth data", as they say.
How are preference points ranked within point groups? For example, if we are putting in for a party tag with an average of 6.75 points, which puts us in the ">6" pool of applicants (">6" being the display on the draw odds sheet you publish). Within that ">6" group, are we ranked more highly than a party with 6.5 average points, for example? Meaning, you start awarding tags within the ">6" pool at 6.99 points and work your way to lower point totals within the >6 pool. Or is it random within the ">6" point pool, and 6.75 is treated the same as any other point total, for example 6.25, within the >6 pool? I am hoping for a definitive answer, if there is someone there who knows for certain.
