Nothing for me and the wife but my dad pulled a random antelope tag so looks like I’m loading up the little ones and headed up there anyway. Should be a fun trip.

Pulled a General Deer tag in an off the wall area, no surprise because I had twice the points it should have required. Was hoping for a random Pronghorn tag but will be getting that refund.

I drew my first tag as well, but I do have one basic question: I drew a deer tag and they wiped my points back to 0. Can I still buy a (deer) point in the July period as I’ve done in the past? Or is that not an option for me since I was drawn. Seems like a simple question but it’s not super obvious from some googling. I am assuming “no” but I’ll find out when I buy my elk/antelope points anyway. Just a curiosity.

I was planning on just putting in for some out of reach units and bump the points for another year. Dang if I didn't draw my first choice! Thanks for the good vibes @philos!

Now I've got to see if I can squeeze in a long weekend scouting trip just to put some boots on the ground. What a good problem to have, right? Looking forward to some new country!
