Just looking for information on if burning 6 points on area 32 for my goat tag in Wyoming is worth it or hold out for maybe 47/48.

Wait til quotas come out in April to decide. 47 ain't what it used to be.

47 isn't what it used to be, for sure... and the notion of "holding out" for areas that are out of reach in terms of points is becoming a thing of the past. If an area requires more points than you have currently it most likely will in the future. If you just want a decent representative animal, apply for something you can draw and go now.

Applications aren't due for 5 months. Quotas won't be released for 3 months.... Keep your options open. Winter kill often happens during late winter.

If you draw it, early June is a great time to come out and see the area. Also the Central Wyoming Machinegun and Cannon shoot happens in 32 in early June.. Guns to rent and shoot full auto.
