It's funny. For the best it went this way. They sold 500 in under an hour. If it had been a full-scale planned event it would have sold out in <5 minutes and there would be a lot more people crying. Forum engagement rewarded. And a huge blast to the industry. People are definitely taking notice.

I feel the same way. I was refreshing my search for posts by Ryan based off hearsay that the preorder would drop at 9pst just to cover my butt if the rumors turned out to be true.

Maybe that was on purpose? Didn't change their end result, but the website was already struggling enough as it was...imagine if 10,000 people were logged on hitting refresh to try and buy 500 scopes.

No worries though, Personally I would rather check it out in person first. I will wait until I can check one out at the shop, then get on one of the upcoming lists if its as good in person as it appears.
