Would you buy this scope?

Sounds like Form has already answered his own questions, because if these are the best that low can make, and they make other scopes that pass the drop test, and there isn't a better option in terms of internals, then send it and place the order.
I love the process, even if chances are slim i can even get my hands on one.

I’ve done quite a bit of modal/vibe/shock testing. The challenge is always that we qualify to some MIL-STD 810X spec, but the actual environment experienced isn’t known until deployment. If ever. These basic transportation specs aren’t that illuminating, and they’re not not how you learn anything about your device. Just survival usually.

In short, you can spend hundreds of thousands on this and still not have information to build a better product unless it’s done correctly.
Same, have spent days in vibe/ shock labs. They are pass/fail tests. I’m saying if he bolted the rifle to a table and then ran a punisher of a vibe spec for some off-road Baja style race car and it still held zero… he’d be golden. I could cook up some GRMS levels….

Not needed and agreed those tests are typically very very specific for given mounting conditions in a vehicle, etc. but you could be super conservative with the test and it would be fun to see. I’m sure he can cook up some accelerated testing to give them confidence prior to ordering without all that though.

I want to emphasize that these scopes, priced at $999, represent an incredible value. Our profit margins on these products are quite slim. If another retailer were to sell them, the price would likely be $1,800 or more.

This isn't a sales pitch or an attempt to hype things up. You all in this thread are the inner circle and understand the goals we are trying to achieve.

Really like the $100 non-refundable deposit thing, gets skin in the game and you gauge the number much better.

Would also like to suggest you perhaps limit #/person if you’re capped on production. Maybe 2/psn and if you don’t fill up open it all the way?

I think a prepay like the LH tikka .223 deal would be a good way to do it for the first batch. Nonrefundable. You would then know the baseline amount to order and decide how many extra you want to get right away. I'd buy 2 to start.
