Someone was making a fire break in the prairie around our neighborhood this morning. Much thanks for the preparations though the Aspen Acre fire is still 20 miles from us but it's all bone dry junipers and prairie between us and the fire. The fire ran eight miles south and five miles north last night due to the extreme weather conditions.
