Someone convinced Nikon to hook them up with LOW in exchange for putting the Nikon name back on a scope? Not quite ...![]()
I still have a half dozen Nikon Buckmaster scopes. For set and forget with a BDC reticle, they are my favorite. I've taken some serious falls with a couple of them and never lost zero. I was truly saddened when they got out of the scope game. That would truly warm my heart.
I reached out to Tract years ago when they were new and asked them about a better reticle. They weren’t interested. But that was probably 6-8 years ago or more.Would not surprise me if it is Tract. When eagleman was trying to get his reticle done, he mentions in his videos trying to talk to people from athlon, nightforce, Trijicon... Tract is the only one that followed up with him on it.
Background matters when you're asking a company to spend THEIR money on YOUR idea. I'm sure all of these companies get emails every other day from Tom, Dick, and Harry about what they need to do to improve their product lines. Very few of the suggestions can be monetized and profitable.I reached out to Tract years ago when they were new and asked them about a better reticle. They weren’t interested. Oh, I'm certain of that. Background matters when you're asking a company to spend THEIR money on YOUR idea. Not tract unless there randomly is a company who's text and general layout matchs the prototypes. That company also have capped turrets that match the coin slot style turrets of the prototype also.Would not surprise me if it is Tract. I posted these quite a few pages back, not exact font (tail of T has slight difference) but it’s the closest on the market. Not tract unless there randomly is a company who's text and general layout matchs the prototypes. Aren’t pre-selling and “container inventory” mutually exclusive terms? Legitimate question. Why would you need to pre sell if you already had the inventory? So you pre-paid via putting a deposit down creating a legal contract, then when your Bronco Raptor finally arrived, the demand was such that due to lower allocation/availability, you essentially sold it to the dealer for way more then the dealer original sales contract you signed ?
There are a magnitude of companies pre-selling inventory out. I’m not sure why there is an issue. I don’t see either user name calling outdoor vitals or Kuiu frauds as they built multi million dollars companies pre selling container inventory as a business model.
