Would you buy this scope?

Ive been proud to be from Texas my whole life, this site is making me think I've been brain washed. I swear 90% of dumb shit said on here is people from Texas. Can we tighten up as a group please . Im not excluding myself, im aware lol
I resemble that remark...

Plot twist: it’s a partnership with SWFA 🤣
My understanding is that SWFA is essentially what used to be Tasco, and that causes me all sorts of angst, because the Tascos I had in the 80's and 90's were, uh, not drop proof.

ETA: I'd buy from them. Don't get me wrong. I'm just saying, there's irony in coming full circle like that.

No kidding....huh. Yeah, i remember having Tasco scopes in the 80/90's also in my youth.

SWFA isn’t Tasco. The original Super Sniper scope was a Tasco. When Tasco stopped making the SS, SWFA bought the design

Tasco had higher end Japanese scopes at one point in time... The Tasco Titan was on a 30mm tube before 30mm tubes became an everyday thing. They developed the SS for a Navy seal contract. I remember the ad copy for them... Driving nails through boards before Nightforce was doing it.

Thanks guys.

I didn't know all (or even many) of those details. I knew SWFA when they were selling other stuff (a la the Sample List) but didn't get the nexus between them and Tasco.

Neat stuff.

I think the Teratorn name came from the wings on the pack, Teratornis is an extinct bird with a wingspan larger than a condor.

I'm assuming that the company they're working with has their logo on the eyepiece which is why the S2H logo is on the objective.
They've been transparent about the company building these, and they don't put their logo on any of the OEM scopes they build

You’re referring to LOW? I have no expertise in this department, but while that has been transparent, they also said a “big” brand is required to get access to LOW. So they seem to be partnering with someone that has yet to be named.
