Itād be funny that after everyone was joking about adding a gold ring and such like leupold it actually ended up being leupold theyāre working with. Highly doubt it but would be pretty funny. Iād imagine itād be Trijicon or Nightforce. They both have pretty decent customer service and the most open to feedback from customers.Some have come close, in a roundabout kind of way ... not that I'd know.
This made me snicker. You should go read the NX6 thread. A lot of grief over Nightforce not listening to feedback on their reticles, at least for hunting. All either of these two companies would need to do is put a different reticle in a scope they already make and there wouldn't be a need for this project. So I'm guessing it's not either of them.

So you pre-paid via putting a deposit down creating a legal contract, then when your Bronco Raptor finally arrived, the demand was such that due to lower allocation/availability, you essentially sold it to the dealer for way more then the dealer original sales contract you signed ?The lefty 223 thing is not really a good example to support a need for ācommitmentā to keep people from backing out. You failed to mention (and maybe didnāt know) that the price of the rifle increased significantly after a lot of people signed up. The sign up link initially had those rifles listed at $749. I didnāt get on the list at that point as it was still up in the air if they would be blued or stainless. When it was confirmed they would be stainless steel, the price in the link went up to $879. I signed up even though I could have bought a right hand SS 223 or a lefty SS in another cartridge for $750 or less from another source. Then, a couple months later, the company announced that they would be $1,029, but anyone who had already committed under the lower price could email to cancel. Since they didnāt offer to honor the price I had signed up for, I canceled. I was informed that by the time the 223s actually became available, they were $1,079 (but that included āfreeā shipping
I am hopeful that the RokScope will be the ultimate hunting scope, but since the full specs arenāt even known yet, I would not consider putting a deposit down on one at this time.
