Would you buy this scope?

What are the specs?

Small update to the scopes.

It looks like everything over the original specs from Japan- size, weight (very small), and power range, IQ, etc. are all going to be a bit better than originally thought.
Weight improvement from the original 20 oz or the 24 oz clarification?

Out here in the southwest, black anodized scope tubes in the sun can get hot enough to burn (leaning against the inside forearm while carrying). I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but it would be lovely to have a color option with lower IR absorption.

My kneejerk response is that anything with lower absorption will probably be shiny and hard to market

vet wrap or hockey tape should help

The issue is that in general, unless it’s a mil issues scope- colored ones don’t seek all that well compared to black.
Guessing you meant 'sell', not 'seek' - yep, I've heard that from a few sources, and agree it wouldn't make sense from a UM / S2H perspective ... I wasn't pushing for it; just replying to @Shortschaf's post.

And for @Shortschaf, @nm.otter and others, there are a few places around who are pretty experienced now at Cerakoting scopes if you wanted to go that route ... I think CS Tactical have done some, and may have even seen some by UM.

What time and temperature is the cure for this cerekote?
