What are the specs?Small update to the scopes.
It looks like everything over the original specs from Japan- size, weight (very small), and power range, IQ, etc. are all going to be a bit better than originally thought.

Looks like between 24-26oz. There just ain’t a way around it, with the required design being used.

One page back:how are pre production ones holding up… and did we get a final prize yet? Is the glass same as maven rs1.2 or where yall able to spec a higher end
Don’t have any yet. Japan works on their own timeline. It’s looks like realistically we should have a few to hunt with this fall.
My kneejerk response is that anything with lower absorption will probably be shiny and hard to marketOut here in the southwest, black anodized scope tubes in the sun can get hot enough to burn (leaning against the inside forearm while carrying). I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but it would be lovely to have a color option with lower IR absorption.
What about a matte light brown, a la NF, Bushnell, ZCO, and others? My kneejerk response is that anything with lower absorption will probably be shiny and hard to market
vet wrap or hockey tape should help

Guessing you meant 'sell', not 'seek' - yep, I've heard that from a few sources, and agree it wouldn't make sense from a UM / S2H perspective ... I wasn't pushing for it; just replying to @Shortschaf's post. The issue is that in general, unless it’s a mil issues scope- colored ones don’t seek all that well compared to black.

And for @Shortschaf, @nm.otter and others, there are a few places around who are pretty experienced now at Cerakoting scopes if you wanted to go that route ... I think CS Tactical have done some, and may have even seen some by UM.
I don't know - perhaps reach out to @Unknown Munitions: https://www.unknownmunitions.com/cerakote/What time and temperature is the cure for this cerekote?
First all the Leupolds, and now all the NFs? You don't muck around ...I sold all my NF for this.
