Would you buy this scope?

Not to derail the thread ... but did your Loctite set up? A few of us here have had the experience of the side of the ring where the cross-bolts being open and blue Loctite not curing.

This is a really good thread that goes over a lot of the issue and fixes in detail:

S2H scope versus the best of the 3x Maven RS1.2’s I have.

Again, a noticeable difference in FOV, though the Maven is better than the Tenmile in FOV. The S2H scope is brighter, sharper, with better color rendition. Everything is just a bit more muted in the Maven than the S2H, and the Maven has almost a tiny bit of distortion over the whole image.

Blue set up in the ring caps, not that well on the cross bolts. 55"/# shouldn't be coming loose, but 230s at 3080mv in a 9# rifle with a big brake generates a lot of forces rear and in braking energy. Shooting 245s at 2980 had more felt energy in the weapon than my rum pushing 300s over 2800mv. That rifle broke a Nightforce, a Burris and a Khales.

55in-lbs on the cross bolts is light. 65in-lbs is what they should be- minimum.

That was a typo, their spec is 65"/#, I did 65 on fix-it's, which wasn't a success, then even turned another 30° and 45° on the nut following. Unsure of where that torque landed.

Sounds like one should be sent you @khuber84 to test!

Drop test callout by Cliff today and scope development... scroll to 28:16.

I hope he's right. And I suspect that he is at least in part - it would be a logistical nightmare for a company with 10,000 scopes or more scattered across the nation on dealer shelves, to admit they had a problem.

You think Leupold or Vortex, individually, have ONLY 10,000 scopes sitting on retailer shelves? Probably times 10. Or more.

I'm waiting on a new Droptine for a warranty from Burris and they told me that they're waiting on a container with 4000 of them to show up, they don't have any in the warehouse right now.

Could someone give a quick 153 page summary for those just tuning in. Sounds like a shoot2hunt scope is in the works?

What’s the size, price, availability date, etc?

Looking to make a tikka 6.5 PRC build with a rokstok. Was going to go with a maven, but may wait now that I see this.

LOW knows how to make a scope that passes the test, if asked. Form knows how to test scopes quickly. That's the easy part...

Estimating how many to order is a much harder question.
The answer to that question is simple. preorder.

Do you have a footage number for FOV at 100 yards? Specifically in 3x?

Also, is it a 30mm tube? I may have missed it.
