A common thread for all of us here is the ability to own and use a gun. The Left desperately wants to eliminate that right and will never stop. If you can't ban guns, you start legislating about ammunition. That's happening in states already. A gun is worthless without reasonable access to ammo.

Every gun owner should be voting Republican or Conservative in every election. They should be bringing their family and friends to do the same. To do otherwise is to be come part of the problem and part of the cancer infecting this country.

Generlaize much? Overly simplistic at all? You may find it hard to believe but there are many gun owners that are thankfully not as monocentric in their views.

And yet conservatives will demonize those of the "left" for voting on one topic issues...

Well there is that tricky second amendment issue, that many if not an overwhelming majority of Democrats running on a Democratic platforms have Publicly stated they will fight to abolish or highly restrict. Only amendment built for the general population to protect the Constitution

We could go into the open boarder platform that the Texas Residents are voting for or against in the current senate race.

I don’t expect a guy in NY to understand what it’s like living, having property/assets, working or recreationing next to the Mexico border, and all its glory of vandalism, thief, abduction , murder, Cartel Shoot outs, bodies hung from bridges, etc.

I also wouldn’t expect someone to believe that the H2a visa program is uncapped, and is an easy legal way to work in the US. God forbid someone would have to get a background check to work in the US, instead of breaking laws, putting kids in danger, to come into the US....

Thankfully there are some that understand the realities of what thier votes mean... and the truths of what some vow to protect why others vow to destroy.

I feel for Montana’s as the influx of blue ideology takes over politics of urban areas, as they and thier jobs flee from the blue oppressing economies. Unfortunately they forget what caused thier job to flee in the first place, and don’t flee the blue ideologies.

But what do I know I’m just an ignorant conservative voter, whom understands that you have to have an ID(that every State in the US offers an identication card)to get on a plane, to go to another country, to drive, to have a job, to write a check etc..... and to vote.

Constitutional issues are so minute in nature, that we don’t have a balancing system to interpret laws built around it’s meanings... nor do they have an intense, lengthy, and majority type ratification process.......

I can’t image why people would even vote on trifling constitutional amendments, the constitution is just a price of paper, no one would ever even take an oath to protect it... why would a party run on changing it....

The truth of the matter is vote Republican because the Democrats have gone so far left to embrace a socialist platform. Yes not all democrats have but wow have they abandoned the middle ground independents and moderate democrats. So many of the Democrats running for Gov, House and Senate nationwide that are crazy and extreme, it really is scary that the direction this country may take if they get power. I really wish NY and CA had less power over our politics.

It is sad that the worst of a party have started to destroy it and they are the ones that are also slowly taking down other states as people just don’t care enough to vote and they know it, hopefully people wake up and decide which way they want our country to go and vote.

Cool since you can fit 5 NY’s into Texas, that makes you an expert on border life and of course since every Texans lives on the border.....

so let’s talk about what YOU and they have experienced living or owning property near the border.

I noticed you ignored the other points also.

Is there something wrong with YOU? Personality deficiency or something? Why is so hard for YOU to understand that people that may consider many issues when they vote and not all of them prioritize things the same way YOU do.

Lol nothing wrong with me, Why is a first hand account of the border issues so upsetting to you, so upsetting you would interject with irrelevancy? I will drop the border issues and go back to your original shot,

Why is someone voting based on a platform of constitution protection so upsetting?

I am not really sure what you guys are talking about. Both Trial and I responded to being told to vote Republican simply on the fact of the second amendment and now we are talking about property rights, Texas and the Texas border....

And not even in the sense of a naturally evolving conversation. You literally proved my point of choosing who to vote for is a complicated process that involves more thought than saying I am going to vote this way because this person will protect my second amendment rights. Literally what the ever loving **** is going on...?

I am so confused.

Are you off your meds? I know it's hard for you to get past your Texas bred Narcissism but try for minute. Because I didnt even bring up the boarder in this conversation. My comment was made in reference to be told our only choice and salvation is mindless partisanship.

No, you’re not overreacting - more people are buying property in Montana and the minority is very vocal.

I love that you inserted yourself into that conversation, which is becoming more popular in cities like Bozeman. I grew up in MT and still consider it “home”. My Parents still live there on our ranch, and my Dad tells me stories all the time of anti-hunters spewing non factual data points. I still believe that the “major majority” of Montana residents are supportive of hunting and 2nd amendment rights.
