I ended up trying carnivore diet for a week (back on keto but with higher protein calories now), changed post workout protein shake, and change the electrolyte packet I use when working out. It took a few days but this seemed like it turned me around.

I appreciate all the thoughts and ideas discussed.

It's the heat. Start rucking on the treadmill at max incline instead. Works well for me.

You may be overdoing it.

Recovery periods are just as important as hard training. You can only break your body down so much. It’s got to have time to rest and rebuild.

Heat and humidity are also a huge factor. My heart rate increases 10-15% during exercise during the summer months. I just have to slow myself down to keep myself in my target heart rate range.
I will second this. I’ve learned recovery is underrated and often not talked about enough. Recovery and the workout are two sides of the same coin. Both are equally needed.
