Been keeping up with my new full body 3x a week and doing cardio every day.

This past weekend, I scouted for elk and hiked in 20 gallons of water to where we plan to camp. It's a very dry unit and maybe I'm just a wuss but I have no interest in filtering from cattle tanks or drinkers. Heading out two weeks from tomorrow. Fingers crossed the water has not been messed with by then!

Did a 10-gallon load on Friday night, a five-gallon load on Saturday morning and a five-gallon load on Sunday morning.

Saw lots of great bulls to make up for the pain!

I'm back from my elk hunt. I called a 4x5 bull into 24 yards and couldn't pass up the slam dunk opportunity.

The strength training I've been doing definitely helped out on the long, heavy packout.

2 miles today.
